Figure Drawing (with Emily)

You will have the opportunity to work with a live model and learn how to depict form and volume while mastering the basics of proportion and gesture. Great option for college prep.
Saturday, March 30, 1-3pm Registrations close on Wednesday, March 27 Teen/Adult $20 per person Create cute felted eggs perfect for a spring or Easter decoration. In the 2 hour workshop you can create up to 5 small eggs on decorative sticks, complete with bows. Materials included for 2-5 eggs, amount determined by the 2 hour timeframe. Adults only due to needle tools being used. Workshop maximum is 8 people, register today!
Tuesday, April 16 and Wednesday, April 17, 6:00-9:00pm Registrations close on Friday, April 12 Teen/Adult $80 plus materials Do you have experience with oil painting? Need a little help with a piece in progress? This workshop will help you go over some of the basics such as how to better set up your pallet, the best medium to use, mixing colors, and generally refreshen a work in progress. For advances beginners who want to use oil paint better for veterans who want to get back into the mix; this workshop will be personalized to the members of the class. Tuesday, May 21 and Wednesday, May 22, 6:00-9:00pm Registrations close on Friday, May 17 Teen/Adult $80 Do you have unfinished painting crying out for a fresh eye and a few suggestions? This workshop will offer ideas on artworks you bring in to work on - allowing you time and space to finish these pieces; either through a numbered step by step plan on saving it or some surrealist exercises in exploring the subconscious to find new ways of creating. Or, if it's unsaveable, cutting and collaging it into something new or gessoing over it to start again. An opportunity to paint, get feedback or works in progress, make plans, and use the deadline to finish the painting. MSA does not provide materials for this class.
